Have you ever observed which food your body is most comfortable with? When vegetarians are asked this question, they say their bodies have been at ease with plant-based foods. They can also prove it through facts. It’s true, raw vegetables take 12-15 hours to pass through our systems. In the case of fruits, the digestion time is lowered to 1.5-3 hours to pass through the system.
Now the thing is why not encounter those substances/ foods which really help us to become sensitive to life, more aware and perceptive, and able us to perceive things beyond normal perception. Therefore, what you put in your system becomes extremely important.
Our goal should be to eat food which deals with the least amount of struggle and resistance when passing through our bodies. For that matter, we should know which foods take longer to digest so we can limit their intake.
Raw meat: 70 hours
Cooked meat: 50 hours
Cooked vegetables: 25 hours
Raw vegetables: 15 hours
Fruits: 3 hours maximum
Now it's up to us to decide which foods to introduce in our lifestyles. The best food for the human body is the one which digests quickly. After having your meal, you should be hungry after 3 hours, it does not mean that you need to eat something right away. Your body can sustain energy from the previously digested food.
